Video consultation

Get advice on my treatments in the video consultation!

A video call is also ideally suited for follow-up appointments after treatment and also saves the time and trouble of travelling to the practice.

With my certified partner RED connect, your data is securely encrypted. All you need is a computer or mobile device with a web browser and a stable internet connection. A download or user account is not necessary.

How does the video consultation work?

It's quite simple:

  • Make your appointment online.
  • You will receive the link and the dial-in code by email at least 30 minutes before your appointment.
  • About 5 minutes before your appointment, dial in to the website of the video provider RED connect using the dial-in code. The use of the RED consultation is free of charge for patients.
  • Enter your first and last name when dialling in.
  • You will then be directed to the virtual waiting room. As soon as your doctor joins the video consultation, the consultation can begin.

Technical requirements

  • Computer or mobile device with camera, microphone and loudspeaker
  • Web browser: Safari, Chrome, Firefox or Edge
  • Internet connection
  • Good lighting and a quiet environment in a closed room
  • Tip: Place the laptop or tablet on a stack of books so that the camera is at about forehead height. Tilt the screen slightly towards you.

All metadata will be deleted after three months at the latest and will only be used for the processes necessary for handling the video consultation. The video provider and the doctor are prohibited by criminal law from disclosing or making data accessible to unauthorised third parties. You will be informed about data protection issues at the beginning of your first video consultation.
